five dead after being electrocuted at turkey water park

Five people, including three children, were killed by electric shock at a water park in northwestern Turkey.
Children aged 12, 15 and 17 were caught by electric currents in the swimming pool in the town of Akyazi, Sakarya Province.

The old son jumped into the pool to save them.
However, these people were also trapped in the current and were electrocuted to death.
All five were rushed to a hospital in Akyazi, but none of them could be saved.
Television footage shows ambulances waiting outside the water park and several people gathered outside Akazi State Hospital.
Water park employees then cut off the resort\'s electricity supply, 93 miles east of the city of Istanbul.
The other two were reportedly injured after touching metal railings near the pool.
Police are investigating the cause of electric shock.
It is believed that the park lacks a residual current circuit breaker that turns off the power to prevent electric shock.
Hasan Akcan, mayor of Akyazi, said the park was licensed for the pool and recreation center in 2012.
