Background inflatable and portable swimming pools are becoming more and more popular due to their ease of installation and affordable prices, especially in communities with lower socio-economic status, they may not be able to afford the permanent pool and the cost of installing the pool fence.
No fencing around large inflatable or portable swimming pools is the primary risk of drowning for young children.
Purpose/Purpose Education of the dangers of inflatable and portable swimming pools in the community, any swimming pool that can be filled with 300 cubic mm of water or more is required by law 4-sided fence.
Methods in 2012, children\'s health will further develop its existing inflatable swimming pool exercise in English and six major languages used by the new State community.
Paid broadcast and print media will support the dissemination of these resources.
Results/results in 2011, children\'s health was exposed by a large number of media on television, radio and print, 2012, with similar results expected in 2012, 2013.
The focus group will provide information for information development and information testing of inflatable and portable pool safety resources between different community groups, and determine the effectiveness of information in changing people\'s behavior.
The significance/contribution to the field urgently needs to educate the public about the safety of inflatable and portable swimming pools, to provide them with the option to make informed decisions about the purchase of pool fences around large inflatable swimming pools, or just buy a small inflatable pool that does not require a fence, which can be easily emptied and stored after use.
