Come and enjoy a fun day at the Discovery Island Water Park in Simpsonville, South Carolina.
Water Park is located at 417 Baldwin Road, South Park.
The park is located between Simpsonville and mauddin.
It is owned and operated by Greenville County entertainment district.
Discovery Island Water Park is one of the three water parks owned by the district.
The others are otters Creek on the North Side Park, 101 W on Darby Road, and seventh Splash Water Park on the 1500 Piemont highway lakeside park.
Otters Creek and seventh innings are new items of the season.
Greenville Entertainment also features a West End Aquatic Center, 2700 W Blue Ridge Avenue, and an indoor pool.
There are two water slides in Discovery Island Water Park.
The yellow slide is the body slide, and the blue slide is the tube slide.
Both slides end in the casual pool.
There is also a river drifting down.
The latest addition to the park is the simulated surf machine FlowRider.
Bolder park guests can practice physical boarding, knee boarding, boogey boarding and standing up and surfing.
FlowRider lessons are available.
Group swimming classes with three levels of ability are also offered.
Other facilities of the water park include children\'s amusement facilities, discount on sunbathing platform and rental cabin.
Eating or drinking outside is not allowed, but licensed cafes©Pizza, burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, smoothies, ice cream and drinks.
There are 16 certified lifeguards on duty at any time in the park, and the staff are also helping with the pipes.
All staff are certified for CPR and AED.
The operation time is from 10: 00 a. m. to 6: 00 p. m. from Monday to Saturday, and from 1: 30 p. m. to 6: 00 P. M. on Sunday.
Rates are based on height and there is a height limit for slides and FlowRider.
Daily Pass and season pass are provided.
Groups who book 25 or more can enjoy the group rate.
Suitable swimming clothes are needed.
Birthday parties and flower cart parties are popular at Discovery Island Water Park.
