The Vancouver Park Council says it will extend the hours of several outdoor swimming pools and water parks during the heat wave to help people cool down.
The Second Beach, New Brighton, Maple Grove and the outdoor pool at the top of the mountain will be open at 9 a hour ago. m.
The Kitsilano pool is open at 7: 00. m.
The Park Council says 14 water parks will also be open for longer periods starting at 9 in the morning. m. to 10 p. m.
Normally, water parks operate from 10 every day. m. to 8 p. m.

Once the heat wave is over, the operating hours of the pool and the water park will be reviewed.
The city also installed spray stations in four parks.
Livingston, Emory Barnes, Oppenheimer and Thornton
In Britannia, Hillcrest Dale, Mount Pleasant, Ray-
Cam house and West End community center.
Park rangers are increasing patrols and looking for people with signs of heat
Related diseases, and distribution of maps along with the location of the cooling center.
Environment Canada issued a heat warning for the Vancouver Metro and made predictions on it
