Canada Day July 1 is the best time to celebrate our country.
But 2017 is special because Canada celebrates 150 birthday.
Activities around Durham have music, fireworks, food and fun for kids.
Here\'s what happened and where: Pickering Bay Ridge relatives Park, 705 Beach Road. (noon —10:30 p. m. )Noon to 5 p. m. —All-
Ages family activities featuring live entertainment, activities, games, crafts, etc.
Add to the audience of food trucks and Sony\'s upcoming emojis. After 5 p. m. —
Family Dance from 5 to 7m.
On the stage of youth
The main stage entertainment starts at 7 in the evening. m.
Tim Burr\'s Lumberjack Show and headline singer Alx Veliz teamed up with the Durham Regional Tube Band.
The night ended with a big fireworks show.
Take the free event shuttle that starts at noon, starting with the GO train station on Beach Road and the pg parking lot on the south side of broken road.
